Heather came to Mussell Crane with a background in Corrections that demonstrated to her that safety is the top priority for any organization and managerial experience at an employment centre where she developed and implemented training programs to assist people to secure gainful and sustainable employment. Becoming the training manager at Mussell Crane Mfg. was an excellent opportunity to bring both the principles of a safety culture and her passion for providing employment services together.
The focus of her work is to provide employers with opportunities to improve their company safety culture and awareness and also to provide individuals with the knowledge, skills and training they require to become a desired employee. Her programs address the skills gaps in manufacturing and the certification requirements of many industries.
Heather is continually expanding the training division and looking for new opportunities to provide safety training to companies and individuals.
Anita
Training Facilitator
It has always been Anita’s career goal to make a positive tangible contribution to her community through her work. She has realized her goal by providing employment services training that assists participants with securing sustainable employment. She joined the Mussell Crane team as a Facilitator for the Heavy Industrial Manufacturing Training Program. She teaches life skills and job search tools and techniques, while providing administrative support for the project. Seeing her clients achieve personal and professional growth is her greatest reward.
Jason Baerg
Training Facilitator
Jason has 12 years of experience facilitating various Health and Safety training programs in our local Region and has operated various road, logging, bridge building and construction equipment. Jason teaches Essential Skills and Workplace Readiness and is thrilled to be using these skills as a Facilitator to help clients empower themselves through the Mussell Crane Training Division.
Gunther E Mertineit
Training Facilitator
Gunther is passionate about safety and teaching others about safety in the workplace. Most of his life he has been an Avionics and Automotive Technician coupled with an extensive manufacturing background. Proud and excited to be a Mussell Crane Manufacturing team member, he looks forward to seeing you in the classroom at our training centre or right on your job site.
Kerry Mussell
Curriculum Editor
Kerry joined Mussell Crane in early 2015. In the beginning she was in charge of printing of wallet cards and wall certificates for graduates of Mussell Crane’s safety training courses. With an eye for detail, the wallet cards for every course were updated with the current Mussell Crane logo, a fresh design, and a new colour scheme. Anytime a poster, flyer, brochure, or program was needed, she was there to design and create! She is also one of the contributing editors to the safety training manuals used for teaching the theory portion of the safety courses. She is currently the assistant project manager at Mussell Crane.
Amanda Mussell
Program and Admin Support
Amanda is young and ambitious. She is our Account Receivable/Payable as well as Admin support. Amanda directly supports the Training Manager and the program facilitators with any task at hand.
